Customer Service Representative

Priority will be given to applicants with experience working in the veterinary industry. Customer service experience is required.

  • This position is responsible for managing multiple phone lines, booking appointments, greeting clients, processing payments and ensuring that the reception area is clean and presentable at all times.
  • Team work between all hospital employees is imperative. When everyone is doing their part efficiently it results in a comfortable and efficient working environment.
  • Candidates must have excellent skills in the following areas: client service, sales, communication and multi-tasking. We use Google Drive and many other programs to ensure easy documented communications between all team members.
  • We are looking for someone with a great attitude, outgoing personality, computer proficiency and excellent telephone and client communication skills. Most importantly, applicants must enjoy working as a team player in a compassionate, friendly, drama free environment. We are a veterinary practice that values and respects our patients, clients and team members. Veterinary Assistant

All Creatures Veterinary Care Center, a small animal / exotic pet veterinary hospital is seeking Experienced Veterinary Assistants.

We are a full service veterinary hospital providing comprehensive wellness, medical diagnostic/treatment capabilities as well as routine and advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Urgent Care is also offered. Our staff has over 30 years exotic pet veterinary experience. Experience with exotic pets is helpful but not required. We will train assistants in all aspects of exotic pet care.

Applicants must be flexible in working hours which may include days, nights and Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain and record patient histories.
  • Collect specimens and perform routine laboratory procedures and tests in hematology, biochemistry, chemistry, microbiology, urinalysis, and serology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of animal health problems.
  • Dispense and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
  • Administer fluids and blood products as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Provide specialized nursing care for all hospitalized patients.
  • Prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery.
  • Assist in diagnostic, medical and surgical procedures using a range of high-tech diagnostic equipment including electrocardiographic, radiographic and ultrasound equipment, endoscopes, therapy lasers and thermal imaging equipment.
  • Take and process all digital radiographs.
  • Communicate with and educate owners in all aspects of veterinary care.
  • Maintain knowledge of preventative healthcare recommendations in order to answer client questions, provide education on vaccines, flea and heartworm products, and assist in marketing veterinary services from which their pet would benefit, such as a dental cleaning, senior wellness, diets, spay and neuter, etc.
  • Knowledgeable regarding related federal and state animal health laws and regulations including OSHA and DEA.
  • Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function in order to fulfill the requirements of this position including scheduled hospital staff meetings
  • Strong communication and client service skills. Considerable tact and diplomacy is required. Ability to work with clients and patients in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
  • Work well with all team members and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy.

Certified Veterinary Technician

CVT certification or eligibility is required to be considered for employment

We are a full service veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical diagnostic/treatment capabilities as well as routine and advanced soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. Urgent Care is also offered. Our staff has over 30 yrs  exotic pet veterinary experience. Experience with exotic pets is helpful but not required. We will train technicians in all aspects of exotic pet care. We are also heavily involved in the community and with many rescue groups.

Applicants must be flexible in working hours which may include days, nights and Saturday.
