Michael Weiss, DVM
Dr. Michael Weiss is a 1988 graduate of the University of Missouri’s College of Veterinary Medicine. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Rutgers University and a Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition from Pennsylvania State University. After earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Weiss practiced emergency medicine and surgery for seven years in addition to operating a mobile veterinary service prior to opening All Creatures Veterinary Care Center in January of 1997. Besides having extensive experience in the areas or orthopedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, ultrasound and endoscopy, Dr. Weiss also has over 20 years’ experience in the area of exotic pet medicine and surgery. Currently, he is also part of the University Of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital’s Exotic Companion Animal Emergency Services staff. Dr. Weiss receives exotic pet referrals from many veterinary hospitals in the tristate region and has also been a speaker at several major veterinary continuing education conferences, both nationally and internationally, in the area of exotic pets.
Dr. Weiss has been featured in People Magazine and Woman’s Day, and was selected as one of the Delaware Valley’s “23 Great Vets” by Philadelphia Magazine. He has also been featured on Animal Planet, Extra and American Journal TV shows, as well as Good Day Philadelphia.
His memberships include the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians and Association of Reptilian & Amphibian Veterinarians.
Dr. Weiss is currently a resident of Mullica Hill, New Jersey. He has two daughters, Lauren, who studied veterinary medicine at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and is presently completing clinical studies at the University Of Missouri College Of Veterinary Medicine. She will receive her DVM degree the summer of 2018. Morgan is a graduate of Salisbury University. Dr. Weiss was also the assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Moorestown High School from 1989-1999 and head varsity lacrosse coach at Washington Township High School from 2003-2005. He developed an off season lacrosse program for boys and girls, All State Lacrosse, which operated from 2004-2008. This program showcased many high school players resulting in their recruitment into high level college lacrosse programs. Dr. Weiss’ interests include triathlon training and racing, boating, fishing, cooking, and travel. He has two Australian Shepherds, a cat and several parrots.
Lauren Robinson-Weiss, DVM
Dr. Lauren Robinson-Weiss is a 2018 graduate of Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, West Indies and completed her clinical rotations at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. During vet school, Dr. Robinson-Weiss held a national position in the Veterinary Business Management Association (VBMA) program and traveled to both Costa Rica and Nicaragua where she performed free basic veterinary care and surgery for the pets of low-income families. Prior to vet school, she received her Bachelors of Small Animal Science degree from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown. Dr. Robinson-Weiss has a “coconut-retriever” named Kay, an island kitty named Boozie. and a yorkie named Gracie. Her passion lies with exotics and surgery, especially when it comes to critters like birds and snakes. Dr. Robinson-Weiss is happy to be back home on the east coast where she can spend her weekends at the shore in Cape May with her dogs.
Kendra Asklof, VMD
Dr. Asklof is a 2019 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School. Prior to that, she attended Bates College in Maine where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Chemistry and a minor in Dance. Her veterinary interests include surgery, opthalmology, internal medicine, exotic species, and neurology. In her free time, she dances, does yoga, runs, hikes and loves visiting breweries. Dr. Asklof currently lives in Philadelphia with her two dogs and her cat and is so excited to be able to stay in Philadelphia post-graduation from veterinary school.
Bernadette Lynn, VMD
Dr. Bernadette Lynn is a 2019 graduate from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary SChool. While at PennVet she completed her Veterinary Business Management Association (VMBA) certificate and traveled to both Thailand and Ireland to work with homeless animals. Her veterinary interests include surgery, behavior and internal medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Veterinary Science and Animal Biosciences with a minor in Biology from The University of Delaware. Bernadette lives in Philadelphia with her two cats, Lilly and Oliver. She grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and is thrilled to be sticking around the area to practice!
