Jim Focareta

Jim was born and raised in Pittsburgh (he's a lifelong Steelers's fan) and graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. After a career in finance and investments, Jim got his first taste of veterinary medicine when he joined a holistic practice in western PA as practice manager. He then completed a successful venture at a veterinary hospital on the Jersey Shore, where he established a practice of excellence in client services and patient care. He was also significantly involved in the planning and construction of their new, and recently completed, 4,800-square-foot. hospital. Jim is responsible for all of our human resources, client cervices, staff training, team building, and business activities. He makes sure our client care services and patient care are nothing short of exceptional. Jim will also spearhead the construction of our current hospital expansion and renovation.

Jim also enjoys working with both people and animals and often spends time in the exam rooms, observing the staff and doctors as they provide care to our patients. Jim and his wife, Bobbi (a native Jersey girl) live in the Galloway area and love to explore local festivals and flea markets. Jim enjoys playing tournament poker and one day hopes to unravel the mystery of the Jersey Devil.
