All Creatures Veterinary Care Center performs routine and major soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery for most exotic species.
Offering a Wide Range of Surgical Procedures
Some of the more common procedures that we perform include spays and neuters, abscess treatment, ferret adrenalectomy, ferret partial pancreatectomy, joint dislocations and bone fractures.
Specialized Instruments and Equipment
In order to provide the necessary care, we have invested heavily in specialized exotic pet surgical and anesthetic monitoring equipment. This equipment includes ventilators, EKG machines, blood-pressure monitoring devices, microsurgical instruments, high-tech magnification head loops and heated surgical water blankets.
We also utilize radio and laser surgery, including endoscopic laser surgery. This new technology allows the veterinarian to perform surgery in situations where normal instrumentation is not feasible. The major advantages to using radio and laser surgery are faster recovery time and less patient discomfort. This lowers the incidence of self-mutilation of the surgical site.
